Fresno State defensive end Andy Jennings, who sat out last week against Hawaii with an ankle injury, returned to practice on Tuesday and Coach Tim DeRuyter said they will bring him up slowly to the Bulldogs game at Nevada.
”He’s on plan right now,” DeRuyter said. ”We wanted him to go through individual (drills) and test him in a controlled environment. He’s progressing how we hoped and we’ll see how he reacts to it. Hopefully, he’ll have a little more (on Wednesday) and we’ll keep building on it until Saturday.”
Jennings is leading the Bulldogs in tackles for loss with 10 for a minus-53 yards. He was replaced in the starting lineup against the Warriors by redshirt freshman Todd Hunt, who in his first college start had three tackles including a sack and forced a fumble.
